SPONSORSHIPS IGS sponsorships are divided into two areas: events and volunteer drives.
EVENT SPONSORSHIPS Event sponsorships are a simple way for your company to gain ins tant and widespread media exposure as the supporter of a smart, green charity with a young and popular celebrity image. IGS events average between 150-500 people, most ly in the 21-35 demographic, and are covered by all levels of media from local print to national TV. Types of events include: • Concerts • Cocktail parties • Fashion shows • Film screenings • Outdoor recreational – bike rides, hikes, walks • Educational – college volunteer drives, lectures , campus events In 2009, the majority of IGS events will be located in Los Angeles and New York. A list of future events is available upon request. Details of current and past events can be see on the website. These sponsorships can be made for individual events or for a group of events. Discounts are made for package sponsorships of 3 events or more. The amount of press exposure varies depending upon the level of sponsorship.
VOLUNTEER DRIVE SPONSORSHIPS Volunteer drive sponsorships are more exclusive and require approval of the IGS board. These sponsorships are only offered on an individual drive basis and there is a maximum of two (2) sponsors per drive in order to maximize media exposure. As a volunteer drive sponsor, your company will gain long-term media exposure nationwide. These sponsorships are far more powerful than the event sponsorships and your company will be required to display a positive public image, prove that it does not participate in any negative (or publicly perceived negative) activities, and show that it will be viable for at least the next twelve (12) months.
